Meet Dermatologist Dr. Ellen Turner
Offering a Range of Skin Services in the Dallas Area
Dr. Ellen Turner is board certified in dermatology through the American Board of Physician Specialties, as well as board certified in functional medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She is proud to offer a complete array of dermatology services to her patients, including medical, cosmetic, surgical, and laser procedures. She also specializes in a wellness approach to medicine, focusing on the entire patient rather than just the skin.
Dr. Turner performed her medical school training at Texas Tech Medical School in Lubbock, and her dermatology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she received a strong clinical foundation for assuming the care of such dermatologic conditions as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer, and immunobullous diseases of the skin. In her medical practice, she enjoys a focus on elective aesthetic procedures such as Silhoutte InstaLift™ (for which she is a Center of Excellence, and one of two physician training centers in the state of Texas), BOTOX®, Voluma®, Juvederm®, Restylane®, and other injectables, medical-grade chemical peels, and laser and light-based devices.
Dr. Turner has personally designed the Dermatology Office in both its Dallas and Irving locations to provide the most current technology in dermatologic skincare, including Ultherapy®, CoolSculpting®, the Sciton® Profile Platform, Halo®, RF microneedling, the picosecond laser, and the DiamondGlow®.system.
She is proud to offer Sensus Superficial Radiotherapy for the treatment of basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas at both her Irving and Dallas locations, as a non-surgical, non-scarring approach to the treatment of these types of skin cancers.
Dr. Turner is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Texas Dermatology Society, the Dallas Dermatology Society, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the Dallas County Medical Society. Dr. Turner is also a member of the medical staff at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. She is a board member of APEX, a network of independent physician specialists devoted to improving the quality of medical in North Texas and beyond.
In her time, Dr. Turner enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her twin girls, Caroline and Jacquelyn.
