EMFACE^™ is a quick, simple, and pain-free treatment that can be completed in just 20 minutes. Patients will be asked to lie down, and a conductive pad is applied directly to the skin, allowing the EMFACE^™ gelpads to be applied to the forehead and cheeks.

When the device is on, it emits energy that causes muscle contractions, heats tissues beneath the surface, or both. The sensation is often described as being warm and similar to a relaxing hot stone massage—but patients should be aware that they will also experience some intense mechanical vibrations.
