Each year, I look forward with great anticipation to the Spring Event. Most years, we have our event in person with some type of theme—such as “Jump into Spring”—and the décor is festive and fun. Patients are eager to come into our Dallas-based dermatology office and learn what new procedures, products, and services we are offering, complete with discounts and promotions.
This past year has taught us a lot about social distancing and telemedicine and virtual consultations. Thus, we had a type of virtual event in the fall with measured success, and now we will be offering a similar event this spring, the week of April 12 to 16, 2021. We hope that our approach will give something to everyone. For patients and their friends who feel comfortable reaching out virtually from their home or office space, the Spring Event launches with a day that is packed with virtual learning and education about so many different procedures and services that we offer—some that are tried and true, but others that are completely novel and new.
Our office is proud to be one of the few in the Dallas market to launch Qwo®, the first and only FDA-approved injectable for moderate to severe cellulite of the buttocks in adult women! How exciting when you consider that 95 percent of all women suffer from this annoying condition! Now there is hope! Additionally, we will be adding NovaThreads to our existing super-successful Silhoutte InstaLift™ threads. We continue to have tremendous interest in fillers in the face, but also on the body for crepiness of the skin in areas such as the chest for photodamaged skin. Also, we are using products like Radiesse® for butt augmentation and to create six-pack abdomens.
At our Spring Event, if patients prefer to speak to an aesthetician on the phone or FaceTime, they have that option. Our front desk can take payments over the phone if patients already have ideas about what they wish to purchase from previous consultations they have received in-office. The point is this: flexibility at its finest! We think there is something for everyone, and we hope you will join us and walk away having learned something new and having gained something of value. We also hope you will want to return in the future, perhaps with a friend or family member.
