The 10th and final open house was a Halloween theme, complete with Dr. Turner and staff in costume dressed as cartoon characters from various Disney movies. Some patients arrived dressed up in costume as well. For those who did, extra door prize tickets were given to be raffled off for door prizes totaling over $11,000. When everyone arrived, there was beautiful table set with Halloween treats prepared by our very own biller/collector, Sherteen Vassar. A few visitors even asked for her business card to use her expertise in baked goods and sweet snacks at their own parties or events!
Once inside the office, there were Halloween decorations galore plus delicious catering from Mi Cocina complete with Mambo Taxis for all. Representatives from Allergan, SkinMedica, Sciton, Luminis, Merz, Medicis and Zeltiq were here, to name a few, to educate and provide information to questions from patients and friends. Lauren Gomez, cosmetic concierge, represented the new spa area which focused on Ultherapy, Fraxel and the latest addition to the Dallas office–FemTouch vaginal rejuvenation. In the laser rooms, a Coolsculpt demonstration occurred while the Sciton representative showed amazing before and after photos of the brand new Halo and Halo Pro hybrid laser platform for pigmentation, wrinkles and scarring–even better than its predecessor!
Much fun was had by all, while learning about new procedures and techniques the office is now able to offer. Although it has been a wonderful ten years of open house, we are officially ending our reign of this event. We will be focusing more on smaller events throughout the year, which help educate our patients on specific products and services, but without overwhelming them with new information. As an introduction to our newest device–FemTouch vaginal rejuvenation, we will be offering a small group event named “Laugh, Love, Live” on November 16th for interested females to attend. The time slots will occur at 2, 3 and 5pm to allow for a brief explanation of what the device is able to offer patients, as well as a breakout into private consults for those who wish to ask more questions.
